Three Articles of Operation

How an Inquiry Travels

Article i

The Submission

The citizen fills out the brief inquiry above. The form is transmitted over TLS-encrypted channels. The data we collect is described in plain English in our Privacy Policy, no buried clauses.

Article ii

The Routing

CoupeCoverage forwards the inquiry to participating lenders in its network. Each lender, under its own federal and state license, evaluates the inquiry on its own approval criteria. CoupeCoverage does not approve, deny, or price any loan.

Article iii

The Offer

If a lender extends an offer, the offer is the lender's, with all rates, terms, and fees disclosed per the Truth in Lending Act. If you accept, funds may be deposited as soon as the next business day, the lender and your bank determine timing.

Four Bureau Promises

Standing Practices

✉

No Cold Solicitation

CoupeCoverage does not telephone you outside the consent you grant on the form. Lenders handle their own consented outreach under TCPA.

✓

Soft Inquiry Default

Most lenders perform a soft inquiry first, which typically does not affect your credit score. A hard inquiry only follows your acceptance of an offer.

§

Plain Disclosures

Tribal lender disclosure, GLBA notice, CCPA / CPRA rights, anti-spam policy, all in plain English on dedicated pages.

♾

Always Free Routing

The routing service is free to the borrower. The lender pays CoupeCoverage for the introduction. The borrower pays only what the lender discloses.

Bureau Record

A Note from the Bureau

CoupeCoverage is, in plain language, a postbox. You drop a brief inquiry in; we forward it to participating lenders in our network. They review the inquiry under their own licenses and approval criteria. We do not see your credit decision before they make it. We do not see the rate the lender chooses to offer. We do not control whether funds are released or when.

If you receive an offer, please read it in full, including the APR, the term, the late fee schedule, and the consequences of non-payment. Some lenders in our network may be tribal lenders, whose rates and fees may exceed state-licensed lenders' and whose dispute jurisdictions differ. Accept only what suits your circumstances.

That is the whole job. We hope it serves.

Questions people ask before they start

Who actually makes the loan?

A lender in our network does, not us. CoupeCoverage is not a lender, broker or agent of any lender; we only connect your request.

How much can I ask for?

Anywhere from $100 to $5,000. Lenders decide how much they can offer, so an offer may be lower than what you asked for.

Will checking my options hurt my credit score?

Checking your options won't affect your credit score. A lender may run its own credit check as part of considering your request.

How fast could money arrive?

If a lender approves you and you accept, funds are often sent as soon as the next business day. Timing depends on the lender and your bank.

What information do I need to have ready?

Basic details about you, your income and your checking account. Applicants must be 18+ and US residents in a participating state.

Is there a fee to use CoupeCoverage?

Nothing. We are paid by lenders and partners. Loan rates and fees come from the lender and are disclosed before you sign.
